Cameos #122

My loopy, ornate Cameos screenprinted by hand in royal purple over painted streaks of soft blue and metallic copper on bright white recycled 8x10" cardstock is a vibrant, one of a kind print.

Each silkscreen print is unique and unrepeatable -- these are original handpulled prints, not reproductions. I mix additives with the colors to create thick, swirly textures and after a few impressions, I wash out the screen and start over with new colors. There are faster, less expensive ways to make a screenprint, but where's the fun in that?

Stock: recycled 140lb Pop-Tone (by French family paper mill)
Options: add a mat or colorful wooden frame (by Signed & Numbered)
