The Five Boroughs #35

My assured sketches of New York City landmarks, printed by hand in dramatic colors on thick white cardstock.

I have a sort of unusual printmaking method: I apply acrylic paint directly on the silkscreen, and use the squeegee to pull the colors around, making improvisational textures and patterns. Each one is totally unique and an original work of art. This listing is for the print in the first photo, #35, and features gorgeous shades of rainy gray, cold sea green and a wash of scarlet.
